A fantastic binding of full red morocco with aqua watered silk endpapers and flyleaves and fancy dentelles, the spine and covers with dense overall designs in gilt of flowers and trailing vines, interlacing geometrics, and other decorative vignettes. An amazing detailed French binding and a rare book of beautiful typography
Psyche: "In Greek mythology, the personification of the human soul as the being beloved by Eros (Amor)." (Seyffert. Dictionary of Classical Antiquities, p. 526.)
