Miniature books (3 1/2" x 2 5/8"). Bound in straight grain red morocco, a.e.g., gilt spine titles, gilt dentelles and boards edges, all covers with single wide gilt filets, the Tressan volume has a central lozenge with initials on each cover, ornaments in the spine panels, and marbeled endpapers.
The titles are: Saint-Real. Conjuration des Espangols contre Venise et Conjuration des Gracques; De Gresset. Peovres choisies; Voltaire. La Henriade, Poeme, et Le Temple du Gout; Tressan. Histoires du Petit Jehan de Saintre, et de Gerard de Nevers. Complete sets contained 49 or 63 volumes according to Bondy or Welsh respectively.
