Eight volumes. Illustrated with color plates and many text illustrations. Bound in blue cloth designed by Talwin Morris with gilt titles and curvilinear designs in cream and green, very much in the Art Nouveau style
"The Book of the Home is intended to form a complete work of reference on all subjects connected with household management." (Prefatory note). Talwin Morris was closely associated with Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the Glasgow Style of decoration and design.
