Large quarto. Two volumes in one. xiv, 306p; ii, 239p, [xi, index]. Half-titles are of engravings of tiger and of leopards reclining on rocks. Illustrated with 40 hand-colored aquatint plates after drawings by Samuel Howitt with legends: "Published by Edwd. Orme Bond Street Sept. 1st 1807 & by B. Crosby & Co. Stationers Court." (as in the first edition). Bound in full scarlet straight grained morocco, the central vignette signed "KNIGHTS S".
