4to. Issued in Original Parts in Publisher's cloth folders. 30 original parts, each in blue wrappers that were issued biweekly. The parts measure 10 1/2 X 13 1/2 inches with the text in 737 pages. Illustrated in the text and with 118 full-page plates on coated stock. Housed in the folders of terra-cotta pebbled cloth over beveled boards, the spines titled in gilt with overall decoration, the upper covers with gilt titles and central pictorial figures of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza astride their mounts. The parts and plates are complete and in near fine condition, the covers with some light wear and blemishes, but sound and rather bright. Altogether quite nice. Item #21407
The final part includes the Author's Preface to the Reader, General title pages and lists of full-page illustrations for each of the two volumes which would have been used in the owner were to have the volumes bound.
