Bound by Orrock and Son in full red calf with marbled endpapers, a.e.g., the spines in 6 panels with brown title labels gilt, the panels densely gilt, the covers with two set of double fillet borders, fancy dentelles. Volume I with owner's name on upper cover in gilt, repeated on a leather label on the front doblure. Newspaper pasted to the front preliminaries of Vols I and II. Small owner's triangular bookplate in the upper left corner of each volume. A hint of foxing to title, but fine. A stately set. Item #21704
