Tokyo: The Hokuseido Press, 1938.
Twelve small volumes in a box. Each volume in a different color special paper cover, illustrated in black and white with colored images on the insides of the wrappers and each with a different folding color illustration. The illustrations are perhaps from block, but the coloring looks to be a combination of silk screening and hand coloring. Bound in Japanese stabbed style with silk thread, each with a colophon in Japanese on a paper label mounted inside the rear cover. The volumes are fine, the box with wear but sound. Item #22112
