Illustrated with 60 designs Wilhelm von Kaulbach, and 12 mounted India proof engravings by Joseph Wolf. Bound in the original red cloth over beveled boards and rebacked in red morocco with gilt spine titles, t.e.g., the upper cloth cover with gilt titles and large vignette of Reynard in gilt and black. The boards show wear and fading with rubbed through corners, all quite sound, the engravings fresh. Item #22906
