"Assisi Edition" limited to 100 registered sets, this "numbered" with a red star. Twelve volumes. Illustrated with plates in two states, each frontispiece with one of the plates in color. Bound in quarter tan crushed morocco with textured cloth sides and pattern endpapers highlighted in gold vein, t.e.g., the spines with gilt titles and floral ornaments with trailing vines, the flower petals onlaid in green. Some variation in spine color, yet quite attractive. Many of the plate are toned brown from the tissue guards that were laid in - now removed. About fine. Small bookplate in each volume. Item #23453
