Never Published. Manuscript typescript. Quarto. Six volumes. A meticulously done typescript beautifully bound with all the appearance of a published book. The author has tipped in and bound in attributed illustrations and material from many sources, such as Norman Lindsay, Felician Rops, photographs, original color post cards. &c, &c. Volume II, Pt. 3 includes an ex-libris supplement containing many original bookplates. In ebullient bindings by the Monastery Hill Bindery, Chicago, in half blue morocco with marbled sides and endpapers, t.e.g., the spine in uneven panels with gilt titles, the center panel with onlays in three colors forming a rather harlequin pattern surrounding a gilt figure of a jester. All quite fine but for one volume with chipped crown not affecting shelf appearance. Item #23722
