4to. Album with 1055 embossed colored monograms of coats-of-arms pasted in on decorated pages. Several blank pages to accept more. Bound by Parkins & Gotto Manufacturers in Oxford Street in full vellum over beveled boards,with marbled endpapers, a.e.g., the spine and covers densely gilt in overall repeating patterns with brass clasp. The cover with the initials H. J. (or H. D.). A watercolor in medieval style spelling Henrietta to serve as a title page. The subjects, many of which are identified, include many royals and society persons, including Queens, Kings, Dukes, Earls, Viscounts, clubs, regiments, colleges, &c. Those on the first page include Queen Victoria, the Duke of Cambridge, the King of Belgium. (Six of the items are apparently merely decorative stickers). The upper hinge is cracked but holding well. A small bit of autograph stationary dated 1877 and concerning voting is laid on the letter head of Kimbolton Castle, the final home of King Henry VIII's first wife Catherine of Aragon.
