8vo. xxvi (ii), 282p. Bound in full cream vellum over beveled boards with pattern endpapers, all edges stained red. The spine with brown title label gilt, the spine and upper cover elaborately decorated in gilt and hand-painted colors in pink, blue and green, the cover with large initial letter and panels of flowers and trailing vines and decorative gilt rules. Some warp to the vellum, but a beautiful example of this genre. Item #24139
