Bound in a (presumably) American binding decorated in classical style, the spine in gilt with a bust of Byron, stylized frames and muse with a lyre, the covers with triple-ruled bands, large floriated devices and a large monument surmounted by another bust of Byron, a.e.g. Foxing near the plates, some wear, but quite sound and a very good survivor of this genre.
