Bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe in full scarlet morocco, the spine gilt titled with double bands framing the panels, the bands figuratively wrap on to the covers terminating in flower petals in blind, covers triple ruled as are the turn-ins, t.e.g. Mild toning to text pages, else near fine. Item #24448

The first edition of the new title; a few were dated 1817.
" The Revolt of Islam is largely composed of the sheets originally prepared for "Loan and Cythna" which was suppressed, revised and reissued as "The Revolt of Islam".

I enclose a photograph from what I consider a good copy of Miss Curran's portrait of Shelley, & also one from a picture at Field Place as it was in the poet's time. Should you care to make use of it ever I shall be very happy for you to do so.
