Bound in Etruscan calf with marbled endpapers, a.e.g., the covers with central panel with Greek key design border within a frame of black palmettes, the outer border of pentaglyphs. With a fore-edge painting of an English Manor house. Housed in a worn but serviceable slipcase of green morocco gilt. Overall moderate wear with the black rubbed off of many of the palmettes. Although unsigned, certainly in the style of Edwards.
